5 September, 15:00 — Performative Reading of Works by Ukrainian Veterans
📍 Lavaklubi, Finnish National Theatre, held with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine.
A staged reading of new documentary drama texts written by young Ukrainian war veterans. The reading is translated by Elli Salo and directed by Riikka Oksanen. The event will be followed by a conversation in English with Sarnatska and journalist Maria Säkö. Free entry.

Organized by the Association of Ukrainians in Finland and Vydavnytstvo.
Alina will present her powerful new novel SCAM, which follows three interconnected voices as they struggle to hold on to everyday hopes and aspirations during Russia’s war against Ukraine. Alina will be in conversation with Liliia Omelianenko. The event will be held in Ukrainian with consecutive interpretation into English.
